Former Members

The Chit Chat Club’s records go back to its founding in 1874. Although the following list of former members and their essays is not complete, it is assumed that it is a nearly complete list of our former members, and includes the titles of over 900 of the estimated 1,500 essays which were written to be presented at our meetings. The Club will be posting as many of these essays as we can find digital copies of over the next few years. If an essay has been posted, clicking on the title should take you to that essay. If you want to read an essay that is listed, but not yet posted, please send us an email to [email protected] requesting that that particular essay be posted, and then that essay will move to the top of our To Do List.

If you know which author or which essay you are looking for, you can search directly either by author or by title using the search form in our Library.
